What is it?
With the Manage Files utility you can move and optionally rename, copy and optionally rename, or delete files based on a pre-defined list in Excel. View Demonstration Video |
Utility Definitions: |
Header Row: The row that contains the column header names Action: The column that contains the Action to be performed (i.e. Move, Copy, Delete, or Ignore). The Action can also be defined (i.e. overridden) by selecting an action from the Action column drop down list within the result listing Current Folder: The column that contains the folder path of the file to be moved, copied, or deleted Current File Name: The column that contains the file name located within the defined From Folder To Folder: The column that contains the folder path to move or copy the file to To File Name: The column that contains the name of the file once it has been moved or copied to the defined To Folder Hidden Rows: Check ignore hidden rows when you want to ignore hidden rows within the defined Excel list of data. Rows hidden will not be added to the Manage Files list. ?
